Description
Two flowers share this marble: a red-orange rose on one side and an orange amaryllis on the other. Both are made with the implosion (compression) technique, built up inside a gather of hot glass and encased in crystal clear glass, so each flower seems to float inside the sphere.
The rose is framed by variegated veined murrini leaves; the amaryllis has my usual pulled veined leaves. Behind both flowers is a black background with just the right amount of goldstone sparkle. The sparkle is hard to catch in photos, but it comes alive in good light. A twisted cane band separates the two halves, and my “DVG” signature murrini sits on the band.
The amaryllis side is a larger cousin of my Amaryllis flower marble and the Amaryllis lily pendant.
Approximate diameter 36-39mm / 1.4-1.55″, as each marble is made by hand. If it is out of stock, you can still order it and I will make one for you.
Soft glass. Display stand included.
