Study of Pink Marble

Description

A garden study in pink, wrapped around a chaos core. Light green and dark green aventurine lines run side by side, never quite parting, yet they bend, fold and turn back on themselves until you can no longer tell where they began. It is order and chaos at once, and the longer you look, the more the core keeps its secret. Pink and purple flowers spiral around it, with a few veined green aventurine leaves along the way, and every turn of the marble shows a different view.

My “DVG” signature murrini sits on top, among the flowers.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece; there is only one.
